Mrs McGeady's class just finished their class fundraiser; they raised $1750 Australian dollars to send to the Ugandan School Project. I commented the following: "Mrs. McGeady and class,

My name is Jameson Branch. I’m a student at the University of South Alabama. I think what you all are trying to accomplish is great! The gift of a good education is perhaps the greatest gift you can give to someone. Keep up the good work!

Madison is a seventh grader. She wrote a journal entry about Remembrance Day and urged everyone to take a minute out of their busy schedules to remember those who've made the ultimate sacrifice in our military. I commented the following: "Madison,
My name is Jameson Branch. I'm a student at the University of South Alabama. What you wrote is very insightful. Only five minutes prior to reading this post, I was stressed out because I felt that my professor had given us too much to do for the week. When I read your essay, it made me thankful for the opportunities and freedom I have to receive a good education. I couldn't help but stop to remember all of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice so I could enjoy the freedoms I have today. Great post!"

Mr. McGee used Vokis, a tool for students to personalize a computer graphic figure and overlay it with a disguised voice. It is a good way for them to express their feelings, in this a case a connection with characters in a book, in a manner that won't put them in danger while maintaining the fun aspect of the project. I commented the following on Gillian's Voki: Hi! My name is Jameson Branch. I'm in Dr. Strange's EDM310 class at the University of South Alabama. These Vokis are pretty cool! Gillian, did you connect with the feeling of being afraid to go to school because you were afraid to go at one time? I was nervous when I started school at South Alabama. It was the first time I'd ever lived on my own and I was in a strange place with people I didn't know. Things have gotten much better, though. Now, I love going to school!

This class used Kerpoof pictures to help them remember the order of the planets.  I commented the following on "dharg"s blog: Hey,
My name is Jameson Branch. I'm a student n Dr. Strange's EDM310 class at the University of South Alabama. That was a very creative way to learn and remember the order of the planets. Who knows, I may even remember them now!

Special Yasmine Post
I commented the following on Yasmine's post about her day with horses:Hey Yasmine,
My name is Jameson Branch. I’m a student in Dr. Strange’s EDM310 class at the University of South Alabama. I don’t see the picture that you’re talking about but I think you gave a very good description about the good time you had feeding the horses. Good post, keep blogging!
